She was a native of Newport, Tenn., daughter of the late William Thomas and Charlie Cowan Hall.
FUNERAL: 11 a.m. Saturday, First Wesleyan Church
INTERMENT: Gaston Memorial Park
VISITATION: 30 minutes before service at the church
She was educated in Cocke County Schools. She retired from Mathews Belk. She was a member of First Wesleyan Church where she was a former Sunday School teacher and served on various committees.
SURVIVORS: Her daughters, Marilyn Thornton of Gastonia, Joyce T. Blue and her husband Lacy W. Blue of Charlotte, Audrey Thornton of Gastonia; grandchildren, Carolyn Blue Mikell and her husband Lee Mikell, and Thomas W. Blue
