Christensen Jeffrey Alan Christensen "Don't cry for me, I died doing what I loved best" Jeffrey Alan Christensen, 31, of Estes Park and Winter Park, CO, died Friday, July 29, 2005, at Rocky Mountain National Park. He was born February 23, 1974, in St. Paul, MN to Dale and Christine Christensen. Jeff graduated from Forest Lake High School in Forest Lake, MN, and from the University of Minnesota at Duluth with a Bachelor's degree in History. He moved to Arvada, CO, for one year then on to Winter Park where he worked for the Winter Park Ski Resort. He began working in Rocky Mountain National Park in 2001 as a law enforcement officer and park ranger. He was a resident in Winter Park for 7 years. Jeff enjoyed skiing, volleyball and softball, hiking, biking, and rock climbing.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers: Glenn Christensen and Leo Hingos. He is survived by his parents, Dale and Christine, of Forest Lake, MN; his grandmothers: Adeline Christensen, of St. Paul, MN, and Audrey Hingos, of Pine City, MN; and two brothers and a sister-in-law: Jason Christensen of Minneapolis, MN, and Brian & Jenny Christensen of Sioux Falls, SD.

Jeff, we are honored to be your parents. We will all miss you. Love, Mom, Dad, Jason, Brian and Jenny.

A memorial service was held at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 10, 2005, at Hyde Chapel of the YMCA of the Rockies, Estes Park, CO. A funeral service will be held at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Ham Lake, MN, on Friday, August 12, 2005, at 10:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jeff Christensen Family Fund, c/o Bank of Colorado, P.O.
