WALNUT - Funeral services for Charles Hildra "Hil" Curtis, 69, are set for 1 p.m. Friday at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka with Bro. Smiley Mills officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery.
Mr. Curtis died Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2005, at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Memorials may be made to the Lone Oak Baptist Church Building Fund.

Note re the name of Hildra: Although the spelling is HILDRA, our family called him Hil or Hillary. He was the ggg-grandson of Hillary Curtis Sr and Susannah Gulley. They came from Jackson County, Tenn. to Tishomingo County, Mississippi by 1837 and later moved to Pope County, Arkansas, where they are buried in Forks of the Creek Cemetery, Hector - Find a Grave Memorial # 95851665.
