Henry married three times. At the age of 19, he married Mary Lois (McGee) on April 6, 1940 in Lawrence County, Tennessee. In 1942, he married Jeannette Marie (Harp) in Hillsborough County, Florida. They divorced in 1945 in Hillsborough County, Florida. Later that same year, on October 9, 1945, Henry and Jeannette were remarried in Lawrence County, Tennessee. Jeannette died Dec. 22, 1995 in Hillsboro, Highland, Ohio.
He served in the US Army during World War II, from Jan. 3, 1942 to Jan. 26, 1945.
