James Harry Conner, 64, of 109 Hillpine Road died Tuesday.
Born in Ray City, Ga., he was a son of the late Otis Verner and Flora B. Knight Conner. He was a World War II Army veteran, a retired supervisor with the Langdale Co. after 32 years and a member of Nashville Primitive Baptist Church of Nashville, Ga.
Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Marty Nantz of Columbia, a brother, Robert Conner of Nashville, and a half sister, Mrs. Judy Peters of Melbourne, Fla.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, with burial in Bush River Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch fork Chapel.
