CLARK, William S.

William Seymour Clark, 77, of West Hartford, husband of Anita (Shugay) Clark, died peacefully Friday, (December 14, 2007) at Hartford Hospital with his family by his side. Born in Hartford, the son of the late Raymond and Minnie (Lloyd) Clark, he graduated from Weaver High School, Class of 1947, and the Porter School of Design. He served with the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict and retired from the Kaman Corporation where he worked for over 30 years. Mr. Clark was a 50 year member of Lafayette Lodge No. 88 A.F. & A.M. He enjoyed gardening, the Yankees, and being with his grandchildren. He was eternally proud of his family above everything else. He was predeceased by a grandson, Benjamin Clark, and his brother, Lloyd Clark. Besides his wife, he is survived by four children and their families, Claudia Foster, her husband David, and their children, Tyler and Stuart, of Burlington; Stephen Clark, his wife Elisabeth, and their son, Drew, of Simsbury; William Clark, his wife Patricia, and their children, Jason and Kevin, of Doylestown, PA; and Antonina Ayotte, her husband Lionel, and their children, Audra and Caitlyn, of Marlborough. Mr. Clark also leaves his faithful companion, Willie. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, December 18th, 12 noon, at the Taylor & Modeen Funeral Home, 136 South Main Street, West Hartford. Burial with military honors will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. The family will receive friends Monday, 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Shriners Hospitals For Children, 51 Blossom Street, Boston, MA 02114.
