Angelica "Angie" (Cristofaro) Colangelo, 87, of West Hartford widow of Alexander A. Colangelo passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday (December 18, 2007). She was born in Bristol the daughter of the late Donato and Rose (Ignazzio) Cristofaro. Angie was a member of Gospel Hall for over 70 years. She leaves behind two daughters Janet Smart and her husband Jim of Coventry and Lillian Fohl and her husband Lee of Wolcott and three sisters Rosalie (Cristofaro)Trombly, Laura (Cristofaro) Quitadamo and Margaret (Cristofaro)Cassala. She also leaves six grandchildren, one great grandchild, several nieces and nephews, and her very special caregiver Luci who helped Angie for the past two years. She was predeceased by her daughter Martha Keish, and three brothers Dominic Cristofaro, Vito Nicholas Cristofaro, and Thomas Cristofaro. A funeral service will be held Friday, December 21, 2007 11 a.m. at the Rose Hill Funeral Home, 580 Elm St., Rocky Hill. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 5-8 pm.
