Private funeral services for Mrs. Clara K Burnand, 62, of 2362 Allview Terrace, Hollywood, will b conducted this morning in the Wee Kirk o'the Heather, Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
Clara was the wife of Alphonse A. Burnand, rancher and one of the developers of Borrego Springs. In addition to her home in Hollywood, where she died Tuesday, Mrs Burnand maintained homes in Borrego Springs and Laguna Beach. She had resided in Southern California for 50 years.
Mrs. Burnand leaves, in addition to her husband, a son, George J Kuhrts III, Borrego Springs; three daughters, Mrs. Charlotte Hamilton, San Diego; Mrs Patricia K Sharman, Los Angeles; and Mrs. Clara Lee Smith, Bel-Air; and 19 grandchildren.
Contributions to the Southern California Cancer Center, 1407 S Hope St, are requested in lieu of flowers.
