This memorial was dedicated at Hollywood's Beth Olam Cemetery in 2000. A nearby bronze tablet reads: "This fountain represents the rebirth of the Jewish people out of the ashes of the Holocaust. Six channels of water, representing the six million Jews who were murdered during the WWII era, converge into a tree stump. The broken stump represents the lives that were cut off in their prime. The stump gives forth a flame, signifying the rebirth of the Jewish people and acts as an eternal memorial for all those who perished".
