Wilson, Virginia "Ginny" Born in Louisville, Kentucky February 24, 1926, to Leonard Campbell, Sr. and Virginia Seiler Campbell. Died May 24, 2011, three days before her 61st wedding anniversary with her loving husband, Thomas "TB" Wilson. Ginny attended Milwaukee Downer Seminary, Pine Manor College, and the University of Wisconsin, where she graduated in 1948 with a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts. She was a lifelong artist, painting anything and everything from canvases to shoes. She was very active in the Junior League of Milwaukee, starring in the "follies" in the late 1950's. She was also an active member of the Service Club of Milwaukee and the Women's Club of Wisconsin. She played tennis throughout her long and wonderful life, and golf in her later years, managing to drive a cart over a green only once. She was married to Thomas Wilson on May 27, 1950. She is survived by her husband and 4 children, Bruce Wilson, MD, Betsy (Ken) Head, John Wilson (Rose Sherman) and Steve Wilson (Kathleen); and grandchildren, Christopher, Danny, Mac, Charlie, Matt, Ellie, Tom and Mugsy. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Leonard (Buddy) Campbell, Jr. Ginny had a love of people and life that will live on forever. She was a volunteer at St. Michael Hospital Mental Health Unit in the 1970's. She participated for many years in the Children's Art Program at the Milwaukee Art Center. She danced the feet off of the great male dancers of Milwaukee, and had a joke and a laugh for every occasion. She had scores of friends and admirers. Visitation will be at Feerick Funeral Home on Thursday, June 2, from 5:30 PM until 7:30 PM. Services will be held Friday, June 3, at 11:00 AM, at Christ Episcopal Church, 5655 N. Lake Dr., Whitefish Bay. Interment will be private at Forest Home Cemetery. A very special thanks to Dr. Scott Jorgensen and the caretakers on the skilled nursing unit at Newcastle Place in Mequon. Contributions in Ginny's memory may be made to the Milwaukee Art Museum School Program or the Skilled Nursing Unit at Newcastle Place. "Aye, laddie, I don't know where you've been or what you've been doin', but I shore am proud of ya' for takin' the first prize."
