SCHULTZ RITES FRIDAY
Southgate Resident Succumbs Following an Extended Illness
Funeral services for Mrs. Katherine F. Schultz, 50, will be held Friday at the home of Mrs. Ernst Lahrman, North and Beech streets, Southgate, with Rev. Frank R. Elder, pastor of the Church of the Covenant, Cincinnati, officiating. Burial will be in Spring Grove Cemetery, Cincinnati.
Mrs. Schultz died this week after a lingering illness. She is survived by her husband, Frank Schultz; a son, Harry R. Schultz, Clifton; her daughter, Mrs. Lahrman, and a brother, A.J. Van Duzen, Cincinnati attorney.
John J. Radel Co., Newport undertakers, are in charge of the funeral.

Note: Katherine Schultz was a resident of Clifton (now South Newport) at the time of her death. She passed away due to cancer at her home on Main Ave. (then named Schneider Ave. prior to the World War I influenced "de-Germanization" of street names in the local area); funeral services were held at the home of her daughter Marcella in nearby Southgate. She was buried at Spring Grove Cemetery in the family plot of her father, Charles Martin Van Duzen. Her older (half) brother, Harrie Warren Van Duzen, who was residing in Ingomar, Montana at the time, was not listed in her obituary.
