Murder Victim. Daughter of Rosemary Arnaud. A free, fun loving spirit, Brenda decided on the night of May 31, and into the early morning hours of June 1, 1974, she had gone to the Flame Tavern alone. The Tavern is located in Burien, Washington. She told friends that day that she would try getting a ride to Sun Lakes, on the eastern side of the state, to meet them there later. She asked a band member for a ride but, he was going in the opposite direction that she needed to go. She was last seen in the parking lot, talking to a man with his arm in a sling. In March, 1975, college students were working in the Taylor Mountain, near Seattle, and discovered the first of many human skulls. One of the skulls belonged to Brenda, she had been bludgeoned to death. Her killer Ted Bundy confessed to her murder before his execution.
