Native American Soldier in the Civil War. Enlisted with the 1st Michigan Sharpshooters, Company K on 24 August 1864.

His obituary appears in The L'Anse sentinel April 18 1891 Page 5. The obituary and 1891 calender show that his died on a tuesday - which would be 14 April 1891.

Burial in the Pinery Indian Cemetery with Company K soldier, John Bird.
