Iva Maude Robinson was born at Lake View, Iowa, October 20, 1892, passed away at her home near Stratford Sunday, September 17, 1911, at the early age of 18 years, 10 months and 27 days. She was united in marriage with Nova Bass March 29th, 1911, who with her mother and stepfather, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Craven, of Boone three sisters, Freda, of Perry, Birdie, of Ottumwa, Mary, of Pleasant Plain, who was unable to attend the funeral and numerous other relatives and friends who are left to mourn the loss of a loving wife, a devoted daughter, a kind sister and friend. The family chain has been broken on earth to be reunited in heaven. The funeral services were held from the Baptist church at Mineral Ridge Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock, conducted by Rev. Linn, of Stratford, who preached a most touching and impressive sermon. The choir, composed of Alice Peterson, Grace Standley, and Belle Cole with Mrs. Clara Bass as organist, sang Face to Face, Beautiful lace, Some Day We’ll Understand and Rock of Ages at the grave. The pall bearers were six young ladies, Marie Peterson, Eleanor Wilson, Geneva Olson and Mrs. Annie Phipps
