Elizabeth was born to Hudson's Bay employee Charles George Ross and his wife Isabella Mainville Ross. She was baptised on the 29 April 1838, along with her sister Catherine, brothers Charles, Alexander and Frances.
Elizabeth married Charles D. Wren, the son of Michael Wren and Nancy Budd. Together they had four daughters: Annie Wren who married George James Dougherty; Caroline Wren; Isabella Wren who married Charles D. Wren; & Flora Wren who married John Goodacre. Elizabeth died on the 6th of Jan 1859. Charles then married a younger sister of Elizabeth's, Mary Amelia and they had two son's Walter & John Charles.
