4. AMOS ANDREWS (JONATHAN5, WILLIAM4, JOHN3, JOHN2, ROBERT1) was born Abt. 1730, and
died Aft. 1797 in Scarborough, Cumberland Co., Maine.

He married (1) ANNA SEAVEY January 18, 1753 in Scarborough, Cumberland Co., Maine25, daughter of THOMAS SEAVEY and HANNAH KNIGHT.

He married (2) MARY 1797.

Notes for AMOS ANDREWS:
On March 30, 1755 Amos and Anne Andrews owned the Covenent. After the division of the town into Parishes he became a leading man in the affairs of the Second Parish and was Deacon of that church.

Amos Andrewswas an active citizen later in the town's history. After the division of the town into Parishes he became a leading man in the affairs of the Second Parish, and was for many years a deacon of the church there.
