"Charles Diebold, 86, of 121 S. Hamilton St., died Friday (Oct. 20, 1967) in a nursing home after a brief illness.
Mr. Diebold was born in Madison, lived in Milwaukee for many years where he was a painter, and returned to Madison eight years ago.
He was a member of St. Raphael's Cathedral.
There are no immediate survivors.
The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Monday in the cathedral. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Friends may call at the Frautschi Funeral Home, 120 E. Wilson St. after 2 p.m. Sunday. The rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m. Sunday."
