"Mrs. Joseph Diebold, 80, of 424 Lorch st., died at her home Thursday night after a long illness.

She was born in the town of Springfield in 1873 and lived in Madison most of her life.

Mrs. Diebold was a member of St. James Catholic church, the Catholic Womens Order of Foresters, and the Christian Mothers society.

Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Alfred Wojta and Mrs. C. L. Greiber, both of Madison; a son, Jerome, Chicago, Ill.; four sisters, Mary Simon and Mrs. Isadore Grosse, both of Madison; Mrs. Peter Grosse, Martinsville, and Mrs. Werner Rauls, Springfield; four brothers, Chrls, Edward, Phillip and Henry Simon, all of Madison, and four grandchildren.

Funeral services are pending at the Joyce funeral home where friends may call after 2 p.m. this afternoon."
