Mrs. Sarah Angelo Dies in Arlington
Former Long-Time Resident of Washington Succumbs at Daughter's Home

Mrs. Sarah V. Angelo, 89, former Washington resident for many years, died yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mabel Appleton, in Arlington, Va.
Mrs. Angelo, widow of Frank M. Angelo, Confederate veteran and former Agriculture Department employe, leaves 96 direct descendants, including four sons, four daughters, 62 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
For many years Mrs. Angelo was a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy and the Mount Vernon Place M.E. Church South. She lived in this city for 28 years, moving to Arlington about 12 years ago.
Besides Mrs. Appleton, the other daughters and sons surviving are Mrs. Rosa W. Hunter, Mrs. Virginia S. Milburn and Mrs. Florence A. Reich of this city; Oliver Perry Angelo, Alexandria, Va; Marion Angelo, this city, and Harry D. and Dr. Stuart M. Angelo, both of Arlington. She also leaves several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow at Mrs. Appleton's residence. Rev. Dr. John W. Rustin, pastor of Mount Vernon Place M.E.Church South will officiate. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery.
