His death certificate gives Presley Allee and Rebecca McKessick as parents. I think Preston went by Presley perhaps because there was another Preston Allee in Walker Township who was born in 1816. Perhaps a cousin. You can see both on the 1850 census. Your Preston is alone except for his oldest son William.
