Frank Hochmuth died at his home near the car barns in the south part of the city at 2:30 a.m. Jan. 23, 1913 after an illness of a week of pneumonia.
Deceased was born in Germany in 1859. He came to this country in 1881. The year after his arrival in this country he was united in marriage to Miss Ernestine Hamm and to this union eight children were born, seven of whom survive, the other dying at the age of seven years.
Mr. Hochmuth has worked in the mines all of his life, and his industry is emulated by all of his children who mourn his loss with their mother and a host of friends.
The children surviving are: Theodore, John, Paul, Frank, Mrs. Clara Ott, Emma and Martin.
