Theodore Hochmuth, a life-long resident of Staunton, passed away Tuesday morning at 3:10 o'clock at the St. Francis hospital in Litchfield, where he had been taken for treatment. He had been in ill health for some time.
Mr. Hochmuth was born in Staunton on 16 Dec 1884, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hochmuth, Sr. He was aged 57 years, 1 month and 4 days. On 13 Nov 1918 in St. Louis he was united in marriage with Mrs. Matilda E (Washkun) Dohnal. He was a miner by vocation, and was employed at No. 2 mine of the Mt. Olive & Staunton Coal Co., until illness forced him to retire.
