Funeral services were held Monday for William Adams Haney, 84, Rush Branch Road, who died January 12 following an illness of one year.

Born September 27, 1877, at Saline, he was the son of the late Sonney and Sally Meece Haney, and was united in marriage to the former Miss Minnie Price.

He was a life long resident of the county and a farmer.

He is survived by three children, Mrs. Elizabeth Sayer, Youngstown, Ohio; Mrs. Sally Meece, Rush Branch Road, and Ed Haney, Somerset; six grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held in the chapel of the Denney-Murrell-Correll Funeral Home with the Rev. Troy Boggs and the Rev. Charles E. Correll officiating.
Burial was in the Meece Cemetery.
