Donald Twilley of Camden-Wyoming died Thursday, July 6, 2006 at home, surrounded by his family. He was 67.

He was born on July 30, 1938 in Milford, Delaware, son of the late William and Hilda (Hammond) Twilley.

Mr. Twilley had served in the National Guard.

He had worked as an auto and industrial mechanic. Over the course of his working career, he had worked for several area businesses including Holden and Mundy, Townsend Brothers, GoodYear, Scott Paper, Richard Bergold and Kent Construction.

Mr. Twilley had an adventurous love for life and enjoyed auto racing, flying his plane, sky diving, karate, and following NASCAR, especially Richard Petty and Jeff Gordon.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister.

He is survived by his companion and friend Dorothy Glanding, two daughters Sheril Eldreth, and son-in-law Wayne Eldreth, Sr. of Elkton, MD; Judy Twilley and her companion Al S. Orsinger (Tink) of Bridgeville, a brother William R. Twilley, sister-in-law Roxie Twilley, former wife and mother of his children Ruby Twilley, grandchildren Aarron Eldreth-Powers and her husband Kevin Powers, Wayne R. Eldreth, Sr., Ethan Eldreth, Amanda Eldreth, Tammy Jones, Brandon Jones and Brian Jones.
