Kevin was a graduate from Pleasant High School. He joined the local Carpenter's Union and has worked construction his entire life. He did a lot of construction work as a sub-contractor at Whirlpool, off and on for 30 years. He had been a contractor for Marion Contracting, and R.G. Beer, until, in 1987, he started working for R & C Cooper Construction, a small family-owned business. Everyone within the business was very close, and enjoyed working together. Kevin especially enjoyed working with his nephew, Scott Ferguson. He loved his work and helping out any one that asked.
He enjoyed his new Harley Davidson, John Deere Tractor, Horses, Browns Football, and was a Nascar Fan, rooting for Matt Kenseth. He especially loved his children and grandchildren. He was known as "dad" or "gramps" to all the neighborhood kids and was well known throughout the community.
Kevin leaves behind his wife of 23 years, Deborah Fout; two daughters, Sara (Jeremy) Collins, Kati (Andrew) Kennedy; one stepson, Chadwick (Brandy) Belt, all of Marion; six grandchildren, Zachary, Kendall, Paytan Collins, Jayden Timmons, Connor & Hannah Belt, and a seventh grandchild due in May; three brothers, Don (Teri) Fout of Fredericktown, Dave (Norma) Fout of Marion, and Tom Fout, of Marion; two sisters, Susan (Kevin) Eilers of Powell, OH, Karen (Billy) Clark of Marion; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; special neighbors, John and Lois Schmidt; and friends, the Jesse and Paula Price Family.
I went to school with Kevin we graduated from Pleasant in the Class of 1973. He was a good guy and would do anything for anyone.
