A brother, John, preceded him in death.

Philip lived and worked for many years in Marion, and was self-employed as a mechanic. He will be remembered as a person of compassion and humor, always ready and willing to lend a helping hand to others.

A private family service will be held for Philip in York, Maine.

Harley here... I graduated with Phil in the Pleasant Class of '73. Phil was the "new kid" from Boston who came like during our sophomore year. Not many people could relate with him or to him. He was quiet and kept to himself. Phil and I went to one of our football playoff games together and once he got to know you, he would open up much more... He was the "cool kid" then. I was suprised when I came across his marker in Marion. I figured he would be buried in the Boston area.
