3rd child and oldest son born to Seaborn McDaniel (S.M.) and Sidney S. (Burdette) Denson. He was a Church of God pastor at various locations in North Central Alabama and Southern Tennessee, as well as a farmer. He was born and raised in Cleburne County AL near Arbacoochee and only had about a 3rd grade education. He overcame that by teaching himself to read and write. He married Dovie Susannah Whitman on 17 April 1901 in Cleburne County AL and they moved to Louisiana (Monroe, Ouachita Parish) around 1903, living there until around 1906, whereupon they moved to to Winston County AL where Seaborn's parents had moved to a few years earlier, then returning back to Cleburne County a couple of years later. Around 1916 they moved back to Winston County AL. Sometime in the mid-1920s they moved to Lawrenceburg TN where Seaborn worked as a night watchman in a factory, moving back to Winston County AL about a year or two later. There were eight children born to this union whose memorial links are listed below. After his 1st wife died in March 1943, he married Eva (King) Ellis in 1944, who died in 2008 and is buried at Addison Church of God Cemetery in Addison (Winston County) AL. This union produced one son, Shearl Ivey (Sherrel Ivy) Denson, who died in 2006 and is also buried at the Addison Church of God Cemetery. Seaborn I. Denson actively sang Sacred Harp music throughout his life which was taught to him by his father, Seaborn M. Denson. He was affectionately called "Uncle Shell" by all who knew him.
