__Bernice Minor, 99, of Bickford Cottage, Marion, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, July 16, 2007, at Bickford Cottage from dementia. Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. Del Bear. The family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
__Survivors include her niece, Betsi (John) Boyanovsky of Springville; nephew, James (Carlena) Minor of Martelle; great-nieces and great-nephews, Kari (Tad) Clothier, J.D. Boyanovsky, Kristy (Brad) Dvorak, Amber (Todd) Meek, James D. (Anita) Minor, Ciera Minor, Alex Minor, Kristy Minor, Chelsie Minor and Elizabeth Minor; three great-great-nieces; and one great-great-nephew.
__She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Bob Minor and Virgil Minor ; and one nephew, Sam Minor.
__Bernice was born Feb. 17, 1908, in Cottage Township, Linn County, the daughter of Alfred and Elizabeth (Menary) Minor . She worked at the Waconia Sorghum Mill, Kresges and in the office of Collins Radio. Bernice enjoyed traveling and was always on the go. She also enjoyed sewing and quilting, needlework, gardening and canning food.
