Two York men and a Gastonia, N.C., woman were killed in a single-vehicle crash that happened a few minutes before midnight Saturday on S.C. 5 about 3 miles west of York.

The S.C. Highway Patrol identified the deceased as Jimmy Leon Loggins, 23, of 1010 Gemstone Road, York; Trinity Marvin Kimble, 31, of 3026 Punk Black Road, York; and Natalie Nicole Brown, 28, of 2207 Acapulco St., Gastonia.

Kevin Loggins, 28, of 1285 Woodland Heights Road, York, was driving a Chevy Blazer westbound on S.C. 5 at about 11:55 p.m. Saturday when the Blazer ran off the right side of the road at a curve, overturned and struck a tree and fence, according to the Highway Patrol.

The three victims were pronounced dead at the scene, said Cpl. Bryan McDougald of the Highway Patrol. All three were ejected from the Blazer, and none was wearing a seat belt, he said.

Kevin Loggins and a passenger, Amanda Jenkins of the same address, were taken to Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. Jenkins was treated and released, a nursing supervisor said Sunday night, and Kevin Loggins was in good condition.

McDougald said Kevin Loggins will face charges.

A 28-year-old York man was arrested Tuesday in connection with a triple-fatal wreck last week that claimed the lives of two York men and a Gastonia, N.C., woman.

Authorities have charged Kevin Leon Loggins, 28, of 1285 Woodland Heights Road in York with three counts of felony driving under the influence resulting in death, said Lance Cpl. Ron Johnson of the S.C. Highway Patrol.

The charges stem from a wreck that happened Nov. 17 around 11:55 p.m. Loggins was driving westbound on S.C. 5 in a Chevy Blazer when the Blazer ran off the right side of the road at a curve and overturned, striking a tree and fence, according to the Highway Patrol.

Jimmy Leon Loggins, 23, and Trinity Marvin Kimble, 31, both of York, and Natalie Nicole Brown, 28, of Gastonia died at the scene.

Kevin Loggins and a passenger, Amanda Jenkins, were taken to Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, where Jenkins was treated and released.

Highway Patrol Cpl. Bryan McDougald said speed and alcohol contributed to the crash. However, he said he could not release Loggins' blood alcohol level, citing pending investigation.
