At the age of 74, Frances Adair died at 5:05 pm Tuesday March 10, 1998 in Lake Charles Hospital. She had lived in Kinder for the last 36 years. She was a homemaker.
Her survivors:
Six sons; Jack Davis of Seattle, WA; Harold Davis of Brownsville, TX; Johnny Davis of Lufkin, TX; Mike Davis of Iowa, LA; Larry Adair of Lake Charles, LA and Glen Adair of Kinder.
Three daughters: Shirley Brown of Ingleside, TX; Linda Alanis of Lufkin and Deborah Davis of Independence;
Her siblings are one brother James "Jimmy" Maddox of Letahatchee, AL; eight sisters: Mary Ann McCain and Helen Gardner both of Montgomery, AL; Maudine Riley of Centerville, AL; Mrs. Dean Ellington of Soddy Daisy, TN; Katie Lawley of Oflawley, AL; and Myrthie Hicks of Gadsden, AL;
She had 18 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by son Bobby Roy Davis.
