On-line Obitutary written by her husband Paul Booher
I woke up at 5:30 and couldn't get back to sleep. I have to write about my wife today for the Eulogy (Obituary). How do I describe her and the last forty years? How do I condense down into a paragraph who she was? Wife, Mother, Friend, Lover, Nurse, Companion, Good Neighbor. She was kind, generous, thoughtful, honest, upright in all her relationships and dealings with people. She had unending love and concern for her husband, her children, her grandchildren. She was generous and would share all she had so quickly when she saw a need , or just wanted to bless. Everyone that knew her enjoyed her company, her smile, her infectious laugh, shared so easily. She loved to have conversations and would listen and respond with openness and honesty to everything you had to say. She cared about your feelings, but wouldn't hesitate to tell you the truth if she felt it would benefit you , or keep you from harm. In essence , she was an incredibly honest and loving person, she didn't always tell you what you wanted to hear. But more often than not, if asked, she would tell you what you needed to hear. Only God knows how many lives have been effected by her presence, and how many by her passing. But the word passing doesn't really tell the story of what Gloria has done. She has graduated, completed her journey, and has been ushered by Angels into the presence of Jesus. She is with Family and Friends in Heaven. Gloria is not dead ! She is more alive now than she ever was here in this world !! We will miss her, but will always remember her and by the Grace and Mercy of God, we will see her again !!!

Dedicated to Gloria Lynn Booher – My beloved wife, companion, and forever friend……..

"My friend along the way!"

As I walk along life's way,
Through sun, or storm, or blowing sand,
It's my friend who walks beside,
And holds me by the hand,
That brings me joy, and share's my load,
That brings me laughter on the road,
Whose destiny entwined with mine,
Leads us onward toward the time,
When with our faces all aglow,
Our Saviour Jesus we will know,
And heaven's light will be our day,
As we walk along the way,
Together!

Gloria is predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Dorothy and sister, Janice. Gloria is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Paul; sons, David and Corey; daughter, Dawn; son-in-law, Mike; daughters-in-law, Janie and Angelika; grandchildren; Candice, Kyle, Thomas, Ashley, Savannah, Daniel, Kian, Samuel; great-grandson, Caden; brothers, Gary, Tim and Mark and sister (and best friend) Karen.
