*** My Great-Great-Great-Grandmother on my Mother's side ***

.
Nancy was the daughter of Cumberland Presbyterian Reverand Thomas Highsmith Harris and Martha Harris. She married Absolom C. Matlock, and the Family moved to Texas. Absalom's family predominantly remained in Kentucky.

The Family lived just north of Lancaster, TX. - We were advised that Bonnie has found the couple had five children and numerous grandchildren.

The Family cannot determine if her husband Absalom is buried here at Floyd-Taylor Cemetery. He died circa 1865 - posibly a victim of the Civil War. We have created a Memorial in Absolom's honor - for we know that he is eternally Dancing on the Stars with Sweet Nancy. He is only lost on this world.
.

IF ANYONE CAN ADVISE DEATH LOCATION or BURIAL of
Absolom - we would be very appreciative of detail. Thank you.
.
.
Our Family would like to thank Bonnie SKILES Rost my Mother's 5th cousin once removed for her research on the the SKILES and FLOYD Family lienage.

Please visit Bonnie's page and flower her memorials.
