*** My Great-Great-Great Grandfather on my Mother's side ***

Would like to know how he died - When he died. If you have any information - he might be buried somewhere else. Was he killed in the Civil War? Please contact us - thank you!

This Memorial has been created for Absalom C. Matlock in Honor of his life. His dear wife rests here - Nancy Malvina (Harris) Matlock - but there is not an exact location for the location of Absolom. Through the years, the cemetery stones have been plowed down and under, cattle and horses grazed in and out. So we cannot say exactly where he might lay in the Floyd-Taylor Cemetery. There are Bois D'Arc stakes - unknowns...
** Where ever you are Absolom - you are with Nancy now..
*.
.
The Dodd-Floyd Family extends a thank you to Mother's 5th cousin, once removed Bonnie SKILES Rost for all of her research on the Family.

Bonnie advised that Absolom and Nancy had 5 children and many grandchildren.

Please visit Bonnie's Page and flower her Memorials.

Thank you Myrtle Ennis
for the detail that Absolom's Mother was Camila Clark, died 1849. She was the daughter of Bolin Clark and Jeriah Dyer.
