Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Davis Dodds (Mrs. Carey P.) of Jackson, were held Monday, November 9 from Lee and Baldwin Belhaven Chapel. Burial was in Lakewood Memorial Park. Mrs. Dodds died Saturday, November 7 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center from an apparent heart attack.
Mrs. Dodds was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe C Davis of Houston. She was born and reared in Houston and spent her early married life here. She was a member of the Pilot Club of Jackson, Lamerinda Club, Board of Prevention of Blindness and the Mississippi Lung Association.
Survivors include one daughter, Mary Elizabeth Dodds of Jackson and one brother, Curtis E Davis of Jackson.
