Grace Edwards
Grace Edwards, 90, of 1405 E Elm St., Canton, died at 11:25 a.m. Wednesday at Sunset Manor of Canton.
Born Sept. 23 1898, in Peoria, the daughter of Jacob and Ella (Johnson) Lingenfelter, she married Evan A Edwards Sep. 28, 1929 in Peoria. He died in 1964.
She was also preceded in death by one son, three brothers and seven sisters.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Loretta Edwards of rural Glasford; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and one sister, Opal Hudson of Peoria.
She was a lifetime resident of the Glasford and Canton areas. She was a member of the First Christian Church.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Murphy-Sedwick Memorial Home. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Gene Danner officiating. Burial will be at Bethel Cemetery.
