6 July 1976: Ammon E. Corl, husband of the late Anna Conrad Corl, 1907 Leslie Ave., died last evening in the Lebanon Valley General Hospital. He was 83. Born in Schaefferstown, he was a son of the late Alfred H. and Lizzie Edwards Corl. He was a retired carpenter. He worshipped in the Lutheran faith. He is survived by three children, Freda Krause, Lebanon; Edwin, New York; and Marion, wife of Harold Martin, Lebanon RD 2; eight grandchildren; a brother, Franklin, Lititz RD 2, and several nieces and nephews. A son, Franklin, and a grandson, Franklin Jr., preceded him in death. [Lebanon Daily News]
