Sudden Death at Hummelstown.
Mr. Samuel Baer was the gentlemanly ticket agent of the Philadelphia and Reading railroad at Hummelstown. When he left his home this morning to go the office he was apparently in good health, although he complained somewhat yesterday of asthma. On his way to the depot he stopped at the hotel and in a few minutes he was a corpse, dying almost before anyone present knew he was ailing. He was about 38 years of age, well known and respected by all. His wife who was visiting at Allentown was telegraphed for.
