Mr. Glassford ws born on October 20, 1939 in Neptune, New Jersey, a son of the late Russell Craik Glassford and Virginia May Keim Glassford.
He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, having served from July 31, 1957 to June 24, 1960.
Mr. Glassford is survived by his wife, Susan Glassford of Glasgow; one daughter, Janice Glassford White and one son, David Glassford, both of Glasgow; two brothers: John James Glassford and Gary Wray Glassford, both of Wall, New Jersey; 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
A memorial service will be conducted at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feburary 1, 2006 at the Harrison Funeral Chapel with Rev. W. A. Mills officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the Harrison Funeral Chapel, Lexington.
