Vinnie Elvidge Moe was the first born daughter of Richard and Leavy Berg Moe. She was born in LaCenter, Washington.

She married first Newton Ernest Parr and had a daughter Edna May that died as a baby. They had 2 more daughters Juanita Louise born in 1925 and Leota L. born in 1926.

She married second Reuben "Shorty" Penn and had 2 children.

Aunt Vinnie was the only aunt I knew very well growing up as we moved so much. She was a sweet lady. One of the things I remember most about her is you never came into her house without her giving you a cup of coffee and a piece of pie.

She loved to crochet and made many, many doilies, dresser scarves, tablecloths and at one time she made my Aunt Lancy a bedspread. She did beautiful work.

She was my mother's oldest sister..
