James M. Miller served in the Civil War. Inducted in the CSA Army in Decatur, GA and then captured at Chickamunga, taken north to Camp Douglas, Illinois and given a choice. Rot in a POW camp or turn blue and go west and shoot "Indians". He chose the latter. Many were given this choice. The Civil War was ...brother against brother.

Take Hwy 412 East
At Spring Valley turn right on SH303
Then left on County Road 4380 (narrow dirt road)
The Cemetery is about 200 yards on the left.
It was fenced in (climb one fence to get to the fenced in cemetery). Used to be brushy (2006) but it was cleaned up by findagrave volunteers and Historical Society Volunteers in 2009.
