Pastor Stan Glover was the resident chaplin at the Arizona Pioneers Home in Prescott. I used to attend his services, and visit with him and the other residents on Sunday afternoons. He was a vey wise man, and I was honored to have him as a mentor. He treated me with kindness and respect, but when he got tired, he said in no uncertin terms, it was time for me to go! Married to his wife Ethel for 73 years, he left us in 2003, a year after I moved away from Prescott. I will never forget him.
