Dorothy J. Colvin, 93
Dorothy J. Rupley Colvin, 93, of 1900 Indian Trail, WL, died at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 14, 2004, in her home.
Born Feb. 9, 1911, in Marion, she received her bachelor's degree in education from Purdue University with honors in 1932.
She married Charles E. Colvin, a former Purdue University employee, on Nov. 20, 1941. He died July 15, 1998.
Mrs. Colvin ran a nursery school in her home for 20 years, retiring in 1978.
She was a member of Alpha Delta Pi Alumni, Modern Homemakers and American Association of University Women.
Surviving are a son, ***; and a daughter ***.

Visitation 1 hour prior to services at 11 a.m. Saturday at Soller-Baker West Lafayette Chapel, 1184 Sagamore Parkway W. Interment Tippecanoe Memory Gardens. Two grandchildren survive. Preceded in death by a sister, Helen L. Rupley. Memorials to Tippecanoe County Humane Society.
