Daughter of Norman Henry and Emma Jane (Brown) Hubbard.
She married A. Henry Anderson. They were the parents of six children: Bette Anne, Phillip L., A Raymond, Allyne J., Aemer Delano, and Mary Lou Anderson.

Funeral services for Anstis Elizabeth Hubbard Anderson, 91, were held Sunday, June 30, at the United Methodist Church in Milaca with Rev. Robert Gamble officating.
The casketbearers were Phillip Anderson, Jr., Mark Anderson, Aaron Anderson, Jay Peterson, Dwight Juell and Chris Kolkind. Ann Johnson was the soloist and Dorothy Bruflodt was the organist.
Interment was in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Milaca.
Arrangements were with the Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home. Memorials are preferred to the Minnesota Arboretum.
She passed away Friday, June 28, 1991, at the Milaca Elim Nursing Home where she had resided the past two years.
Anstis was born July 9, 1899, to Norman and Emma Hubbard in Osage, Iowa. She attended high school in Minneapolis after spending her early childhook near Marvin, S.D. She worked as a telephone operstor in Nora Springe, Iowa. On April 1, 1922, she married A. Henry Anderson in Milaca. She was very active in the community. She served on the District 25 School Board; was a DFL chariwoman, 4-H Club leader, member of the University of Minnesota Extension Homemakers, a Sister Kenny volunteer, Red Cross volunteer and a member of the Hayland Ladies Aid, the Milaca Guild and the Rebekkah Lodge.
She is survived by her children, Philip L. Anderson, A. Ra(?) Anderson, Bette Anne Ripke, Allyne J. McAllister and Mary Lou Maudsley; 12 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, A. Henry Anderson and one son, Aemer Delano Anderson."
