Death Of Caroline Dayton 71,
Mrs. Caroline Hannah Dayton, a life long resident of Dingle, died in a local hospital Tuesday. Mrs. Dayton was born in Paris February 17, 1872, the daughterof Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Sparks, early Dingle settlers. She was an active LDS Church worker, having been for many years an officer in the Relief Society and Mutual organizations.
Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Chris (Sophronia) Bentsen of Montpelier, Mrs. Horton (Alice) Hansen of Ogden, Mrs. Leo (Mildred Hannah) Nate, Mrs. Alfred (Olive Matilda) Jensen and Mrs. Delbert (Nelda) Smith, both of Montpelier; Mrs. Cecil Dunn of Inkom; two sons, Alfred Dayton and Florian Dayton, both of Dingle, a sister, Mrs. Alice Cook of Dingle; a brother, John Sparks;
28 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren Two grandsons are now in the service.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p. m. Friday in the Dingle Ward chapel. The F. M. Williams Mortuary is in charge of funeral arrangements.
