William Black died at his home in Georgetown last Friday afternoon at the advanced age of 73 years.
The deceased was one of the pioneers of the west and had
been a resident of Georgetown for twenty years, where he was held in the highest esteem by everybody who enjoyed his acquaintance.
His wife, four sons and seven daughters survive him.
The funeral services were held at the Georgetown meeting house Sunday afternoon and were largely attended.
