MONTPELIER, IDAHO, Lucy Adell Dimick Black, 94, passed away June 27, 2011 in the Bear Lake Memorial Nursing Home. Adell was the fourth child of Bert and Maude Dimick from Wardboro and was born November 12, 1916.

Adell was married December 1, 1934 to Shirley Black and settled in Georgetown to raise their family. Together they had three children, two sons and one daughter.

Adell stayed home and was a homemaker, but for a short time had a restaurant in Georgetown known as Adell's and also worked as a cook the the Bear Lake School District for many years.

On March 10, 1987, Adell and Shirley were married in the Logan, Utah Temple.

Adell is survived by her daughter, Marie Hennings of Nounan and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Shirley and sons, Gary and Harold Black.

There will be a brief viewing Tuesday, July 5, 2011, at Matthews Mortuary from 12:15 to 12:30 p.m. A graveside service will follow at 1 p.m. at the Georgetown City Cemetery.
