GLASGOW - Bernard W. Bailey, 90, of Beverly Health Care, Glasgow, formerly of Princeton, died Saturday, July 13, 2002 at Thomas Memorial Hospit al in Charleston.
Born April 4, 1912 in Pinoak, he was the son of the late Grover Cleveland Bailey and Louella Wyatt Bailey Cunningham. He was a retired Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Army. He served in World War II and last served at Forbes Air Force Base in Topeka, Kan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Rosa Elizabeth Snead Bailey; second wife, Carmie Lionelle; third wife, Margaret Bender; one brother, Dewey 'Doc' Barger Bailey; one half brother, Tommy Cunningham; and one sister, Pauline Bailey.
He is survived by two sons, Bernard W. Bailey Jr. of Callands, Va., and Joseph Emil Lionelle of Salida, Colo.; two sisters, Naomi Morris of Spotsylvania, Va., and Mary Magdeline Goodhue of Riverside, Calif.; seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Tuesday at the Rowland H. Bailey Funeral Chapel of the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton with the Rev. Larry Dyer officiating. Interment will follow at the Wyatt Cemetery, Spanishburg.
Friends may call at the funeral home from noon until time of service,Tuesday.
