The body of Pvt. Chester L. Bolyard, who was killed on Mindanao Island in the Philippines May 23, 1945,
will be returned to his home, Tunnelton Route One, Thursday evening.
He was born in Tunnelton Aug. 31, 1926;
the son of Vance L. and Pearl Conn Bolyard.
Besides his parents he is survived by a brother, Richard L. Bolyard.

Funeral services were conducted from Tunnelton Methodist Church, with Military rites conducted at the cemetery by Kingwood American Legion Post.
The Knotts Funeral Home of Grafton provided arrangements.
