LAMBERT, BESSIE LEE "NANA" - age 75, of Knoxville, passed away peacefully, Saturday, April 16, 2011. She was born May, 22, 1935 in Lee County, Virginia. She moved to Knoxville in 1969 with her husband Noah Sr., so that Noah Jr. could attend the Tennessee School for the Deaf. She was an employee of Knox County Schools Cafeteria for 17 years. Bessie enjoyed her job tending the salad bar at Shoney's on Broadway for 10 years.
Gone before her in death was her husband Noah Lambert Sr.; parents Marion and Marie Lorton Young; brother M.S. Young. She leaves behind her beloved son Noah "Jr" Lambert and daughter Terri Lynn O'Bryan; her precious grandson Zachary Storm Graves; granddaughters Erin Laura-Marie Huskey, Ashlin Young Huskey, and Ruby Ellen Olivia O'Bryan all of Knoxville; sisters Phyllis Busic and Debbie Young Myers of Lee County, VA; brother Donnie Young of Mt. Holly, NC.; several nieces and nephews.
Bess’s Only son Noah Jr was afflicted with permanent brain damage after receiving a child hood measles vaccine.
