SACRED TO THE MEMORY OF ROXIE WRIGHT LEACH*

My Dearest Mommy: My dearest friend, Heavens most beautiful angel ╬

What a precious mother I had!

Goodbyes are not forever, goodbyes are not the end, they simply mean we'll miss you until we meet again ღ

You filled my days with rainbow lights,
Fairy tales and sweet dream nights,
A kiss to wipe away my tears,
Gingerbread to ease my fears.

You gave the gift of life to me
And then in love, you set me free.
I thank you for your tender care,
For deep warm hugs and being there.

I hope that when you think of me
A part of you, You'll always see

My Mother kept a garden.
A garden of the heart;
She planted all the good things,
That gave my life it's start.

She turned me to the sunshine,
And encouraged me to dream:
Fostering and nurturing
The seeds of self-esteem.

And when the winds and rains came,
She protected me enough;
But not too much, she knew I'd need
To stand up strong and tough.

Her constant good example,
Always taught me right from wrong;
Markers for my pathway
To last my whole life long.

I am my Mother's garden,
I am her legacy.
And I hope today she feels the love,
Reflected back from me.

Mommy was praised as a (good woman.) Here in our community, that was high praise. So was daddy! My parents were awarded honorary citizens of Claiborne County in 1981.
We were Always so proud of our mommy and daddy. They were all we ever wanted or needed in parents!
Mommy was as tough as nails and as gentle as a lamb. Prone to shyness, just the opposite of daddy { a very outgoing man.} each unique in their own way.

𝓡𝓮𝓼𝓽 𝓲𝓷 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓫𝓵𝓮𝓼𝓼𝓮𝓭 𝓹𝓮𝓪𝓬𝓮 𝓸𝓯 𝓖𝓸𝓭 ✞

Loved and deeply missed by all her family.
Forever in our thoughts, our dreams, and our heart.
